Makes for good backup when the duty/primary firearm goes tango uniform. I usually carry a S&W M19 or 27 (4 inch) and 4 speed loaders with Federal Personal Defense 125 grain JHP. I guess if I can't it done with that, I'm a dead man.

.38 Long Colt? Actually, given the condition shown, I probably wouldn't shoot it. Just preserve it from anymore deterioration and pass it on.

Sot of a "saddle holster." Took the queue from another owner in another PW forum. Holster is from Dara, the double socket arm and lower ball are from Ram Mount. Does not interfere with 4WD shifter when weapon is holstered, but does rub the leg a bit. For Springfield Armory XD-M 10mm.
