I Rrally like the idea of a bolt in system that I can do in my garage. How much were the SLP resonators and do they have different sizes? Are they actually resonators or just small mufflers?I agree. This is the route I went with. I could not justify spending $2,500+ on a full cat-back when 95% of the OEM exhaust is the same 3" stainless steel as the aftermarket set-ups. The only real difference is the resonator, so that's the only thing that needs replacing.

While the OEM exhaust is excellent, I know I'm not the only gearhead that likes it even louder. Lots of great choices already in the aftermarket for full systems, but I ended up just cutting off the factory resonators and installing SLP resonators in their place. $85 each and you need two of them. Add another $30 in exhaust clamps and it's a $200 DIY garage project. You want the 3" diameter, see link below.

From reading reviews on that SLP on amazon it sounds like it is basically a straight pipe.
