Installed BD grid heater buss yesterday. What a hoax, I unfortunately bought into BD's fear marketing stating the failure of the buss nut rotting & falling into the intake. If you don't live in a cold part of the country & generally don't deal with cold starts A LOT, don't take the bait. The '14 I bought 3 weeks ago with 85k on it was a local truck (western Wa) for 10 years. I pulled it apart to install the well designed solution & found the factory design totally unfazed by its life thus far. If it ain't cold, A LOT, don't fix it. It's a pain in the ass & stupid; in a temperate climate. Seems BD forgets to state that part.
