I have a 2003 RAM 2500 Diesel. Battery on right side of truck, there are three wires that goes to the positive post on the battery. All three wires overheated and burnt off. When this occurred I got a check gauge light. Opened up the hood and found the three wires had burned and were no longer attached to the positive post. Has anyone else had this problem? What was the cause?

Anyway, welcome to the forum. Did you trace where the 3 wires lead to?
