I received an update
here is my post with the TSB for the Drivers side lean
Anyone letting the dealer fix the shocks?
I just read about the driver side squat. Anyone braving the dealer to replace the new shocks?www.trx-forum.com
sorry i didn’t see that attachment before. My internet must have been being a beeeeeeoooootch. They maybe be ready for shipment this month as per the email in my post, which I received today.
I need to take actual measurements. Sometimes it looks like it’s leaning and other times it doesn’t.So you don't have the lean?
No, this is to replace exist springs for better over all performance and to level off the front end. I find there is unbalance feel on our truck between the front and rear end. The front end to me need a little stiffer spring when drive it hard over the whoops. This is where a taller spring give the front end higher approach angle. The progressive spring gives is a smooth ride still, while stiffening the spring rate so hopefully you wouldn't pound out the front skid plate. Geiser has been building the springs for Raptors for years, which you are aware of. Do I have a slight lean on TRX ? yes. Do I care about a 1/8 - 1/4" lean ? No . I had a slight lean on my Raptor for years.. I just want a better calibrated springs for the handling, overall confront, and to level off the front end with a reduced rake.So this now a recall type fix?
Suspension geometry has left the chatLooks like these springs became available today for anyone interested. We will likely buy a set for ours when the time comes for that.
Somebody should make a new suspension setup for these trucks........ I have been thinking about it for sure but it will be a little further down the road before I start that project.Suspension geometry has left the chat
I’ll be curious to see how they come out and if any issues arise.I saw that they give 3“ lift in the front and 1.5” in the rear. That is a lot of stress on a cv axle imo. Rear obviously isn’t much of an issue since it’s solid axle.
I see cv boot destruction in your futureI’ll be curious to see how they come out and if any issues arise.
I don’t have a truck yet and even if I did, I wouldn’t buy these yet. I won’t be doing anything, wheels, tire or suspension wise until I build a bunch of stuff for my truck.I see cv boot destruction in your future
I will be watching though. LolI see cv boot destruction in your future
welcome. With that much lift the stock 35's will look real small and you will want 37'sThis is exciting stuff. I’m just wondering if there is an option that doesn’t require so much lift? I load Dirtbikes into the bed all year long and it’s already tall enough.
My first post here. Cheers all!
I agree which I don’t want.welcome. With that much lift the stock 35's will look real small and you will want 37's
