My sweetie and I went to a concert a few weeks ago. The crowd spontaneously broke out in "Let's go Brandon". Then it got sort of quiet while one half the audience was telling other half what it meant.
Also, I really like that little G43 Glock. Is it big enough for your hands?
It was a little smallesh until I put the clip extension on it. I fits perfect and has become my 'Daily' . I modified the trigger and trigger pull from SSVi Tyr, Extended Mag release and Texas slide cover plate.My sweetie and I went to a concert a few weeks ago. I was out in the desert a while back playing with my MKIV, SA Champion & my S&W MK 15-22.
At one point the 15-22 experienced repeated FTE, FTF, stovepipes and me doing all sorts of WTFing. I cleared it several times, used a different magazine, checked the ammo, etc... Nothing I did made any difference so I put it back in its case.
The next day I broke it down and inspected the bore, breach, the magazine feed lips, and then I got to the bolt. WTF...the entire extractor assembly was gone!
I sent S&W customer service an email with the model & serial numbers plus a description of what I found. I got an immediate response and was told a No Cost order was placed in my name to send me new replacement parts.
Now that's great customer service. When the parts got here I installed the detent and spring, then substituted a Volquartsen extractor for the OEM one. I'm looking forward to getting back out and having fun with guns again.

Used to own nothing but Ruger but I sold my P series collection and now own nothing but Glocks.
Sounds like fun!
I just pick up the new XD-m Elite OSP 10mm the other day but I haven't had a chance to take it out yet. The mags are 11 rounds and I just order a 15 rounds mag that's coming soon this is going to be my edc as soon as I can go out.

With all this stuff about Alec Baldwin in the news, I began wondering about how his movie gun went off without his finger on the trigger, as he claims. But then I remembered, I OWN an old cowboy gun. So let's take a look!
This is my Frontier Army revolver that shoots .44 Winchester cartridges.
It's a Belgian made large frame revolver that was imported by catalog sales companies like Montgomery Ward (established in 1872) and later Sears, Roebuck & Company (established in 1886). These guns rarely bore any specific makers’ name, but rather would carry names like “Frontier Army” and would be described in terms that inferred that the guns were almost as good as Colt’s (or Smith & Wesson’s, etc.) but were usually priced between about ¼ or 1/3 of the price of the name brand competition.
While certainly not as sexy or popular as the other large frame revolvers of the period, these Belgian made guns are still real “old west” revolvers that were used by Americans in the 1880s, 1890s and early years of the 20th Century.
While this gun has no safety, the firing pin on the hammer is not in contact with the primer when the trigger is in the normal position. As you can see, the hammer stays out just a little.
When the hammer is pulled back and cocked manually, the trigger travels almost all the way back.
At this point, this gun has a "hairpin trigger". There is no free travel. It just takes a very slight pressure to move the trigger a millimeter and gun fires. At that point, the hammer can be seen to be all the way in where it makes contact with the primer.
And once I let go of the trigger, it returns to the default position and the hammer is automatically pulled back a little, so the firing pin is not in contact with the primer.
