Installed Magnaflow 12249 Mufflers

Almost sacrilege I know - but I replaced the OEM mufflers with Magnaflow 12249 mufflers. Still has a great sound, but does not have the cold start rap, or the drone under tow. No detectable difference in performance.

why is it sacrilege? Magnaflow makes good stuff. I had magnaflow on my 2011 and 2016 ram and really liked it. It was a smaller more aggressive muffler but still sounded great. For this truck though i went with slp loudmouths for as much of an aggressive sound as I could get without a straight pipe muffler delete.

Magnaflow is a great product. I said that only because to some folks the idea of making the truck a little quieter is almost sacrilege.

ahhh, well yea that is sacrilege……Just kidding. Your truck and you have to listen to it when driving. Mine I wanted louder

Nice choice, been looking at magnaflows myself lately. How's the sound on highway speeds?
