USAF Retired. Joined in 1987, left in 1998 and re-joined but in the National Guard after 9/11. Computer geek for the active duty period, Operator then Programmer then Unix/Linux Networking Admin. When i joined the DC ANG (Capital Guardians) i asked them where they needed the most help, so i ended up in AMMO. Retired in 2011.

My immediate family (father, 2 brothers, and I) has 77 years of military server; Navy, Marines, Army and Air Force.

I wanted to wait until some long-term active duty vets had posted. For me, US Army Reserve 89-94. Active duty in 1990/1991 after the invasion of Kuwait. OIC for Advanced Marksmanship/M249 Live Fire Ranges. I've also been in full-time Army civilian positions.

I worked PSP 3J the entire time I was there, loading up MLRS's for REFORGER mostly. It was during peacetime and I had a blast (pun intended).

I myself have never served but my whole family is still serving or ex navy. I am proud of our military men and woman so to do my part I have been a founding father of the Canadian wall of remembrance it’s been 10 years we have been trying to get this momentum built and am proud to say we should start building it this year it’s going on the shore of Lake Ontario in Kingston Ontario can’t wait to see it built.

USN, 1970-1974, three Westpac cruises with 19 months sea duty. Trained at N Island Air Rework Facility specialty NDT. (Non destructive testing), Worked on most deployed 7th Fleet carriers, ships, and subs from Navy repair ship USS Jason. Now decommissioned and scrapped. Worked 10 years for Department of Veterans Affairs. Retired from Ag financing After 29 years. Enjoying life.
