I would love to see the actual MPG of these 3. I am putting money they are all at least 2-3 mpg high on the Combined.
My 2017 Rebel got 15 city with driving it like a Hemi, 16 if I babied it. That was with lots of stop and go, and avg speed of 45mph. Best I could get on the interstate doing 70 to 75 was 18. Drove from GA to CA and avged 18.1 the whole 2500 miles.

  • Rebel 5.7 Hemi - 17 city/23 highway/20 combined with 89-octane (87-octane acceptable)
  • Power Wagon 6.4 Hemi - 12 city/18 highway/15 combined with 89-octane (87-octane acceptable)
  • TRX Supercharged 6.2 Hemi - 10 city/14 highway/12 combined with 91-octane (93-octane preferred)
I can say that my rebel never saw 17 highway let alone 23 and in city i was averaging 13.5. Now the TRX is a little under advertised but a lot closer and it’s not even broken in yet.

It's winter.. so I do not keep tract of mileage.. just keep track of how long the tank last and most of the time it's two weeks but at these prices I've been filling up before the light comes on, I see the prices are dropping in some of the states so sure hope that reflects on prices up here

It is hard for me to justify paying for a new TRX truck at the same price my first house was.

Lol my first house was 89,000 that was at age 20. My first dodge powerwagon with tax in was 93,000. Age 52 That’s life. My 26 year old son just payed 70,000 for his first new ram 1500. The sad part is he can’t afford to buy a house now. They have just become too expensive for a working man . So in a way it was a lot easier for us than it is now. The way I look at it is life is too short not to own a TRX if you can afford it.

Agreed. I'm only 31, but my first house purchased at 18 was $47k in a small Michigan town. Closed on my fourth house in October for $350k in Georgia. My 2017 Rebel was my most expensive vehicle at 36k OTD. I bought my 08 Ram 1500 to save a little in the mean time with this new house. I'll buy my dream truck soon enough.

I just checked my 08's mileage the last two tanks. 13.5 mpg on 87 octane, and 13.61 mpg on 89 lol. Better than my 06 RCSB got, and this truck is a quad cab. I'm hoping I can do the tuneup it needs and get it over 14, but I'm not holding my breath too hard hahaha

Obviously better than a trx using 93, however less fun factor :ROFLMAO: I’m a little less than 10 with a lot of short city driving but when I get on log drives it goes up.

If you have a 4th or 5th Gen Ram 1500 we can help a little bit. We make brackets to mount TRX rear tow hooks to 4th and 5th Gen Ram 1500s. We make other stuff too but that is what we make to make your truck more TRX lol.
