I belong to a Tahoe/Yukon forum, I own a 2005 Tahoe Z71, and joined here because was asked by the owner of this forum, that also owns the Tahoe/Yukon Forum, to help contribute here with my ASE Master Tech background. I posted the same pics that you see here today and was booted off the Tahoe/Yukon forum, after 11K+ posts, for 2 days. After serving for 4 years during Vietnam and knowing what kind of hell hole we have dug for ourselves with the current administration, I see now how I and ourselves have given up our freedoms to people that want to control us. I will not now and never will do that. I am not calling Biden/Harris names. I am just posting pics that ruffled feathers of the woke crowd at the other forum. Makes me sick to my stomach. If I get kicked off here, so be it. I bow to no one at all and respect others of a like mind. If you want people telling you what you can and cannot do, within reason, then live with the consequences but I will not. If a member here never served in the armed forces, then they will maybe not understand how this crap effects me but even if you have not served for this COUNTRY, that does not mean you cannot be loyal to this country and stand for what is right. This could be my swan song after the powers that be read this but remember, actions like shutting me down only creates people that will look for and find groups like the Proud Boys. FAFO !

I sent Shaggy a PM already and let him know what I said here. As I said, it was pics and not an opinion that was trying to be silenced. If a forum cannot have a LOUNGE area where we can really open up, then what did I serve for and why would the little girl in the pic even care about this country and freedom of what I post. They allow pics of nude or nearly nude women and all kinds of filthy posts about this and that but a pic with Biden or Harris in it is against the rules,,,,,,,,,BULLSHIT! If they want me gone, so be it but I refuse to be silenced by the WOKE CROWD! I will take my expertise elsewhere!

For now this forum is pretty much uncensored although they do post the rules and can if they choose. The owners/operators are pretty open minded I've found and when unregulated mostly just try to calm disputes and personal attacks between members. The issues arise once the forum gets large enough that the ad platforms get involved and they enforce what content is acceptable under threat of lost revenue. These forums survive on ad revenue and member support, but mostly ad revenue. Unfortunate fact of life and I don't blame the site operators for it. Other forums they run are stricter for this reason.

If people want to sit around and let others tell them what they have to do, within reason, well then I pity those people. No backbone and allowing their lives to be effected by the whims of others is not in my DNA.

Well I will say for the short time I have been on this site I don’t want to see you suddenly be gone. You might not have a TRX (yet ) but you have been a great contributor so far and i feel you can be even better when people come with issues and asking for advice.

Yeah for right now since the forum is still growing we aren't enforcing all of the rules. Mainly political stuff. But please stick to the rules as much as possible.

There will be a day coming soon hopefully that we are going to have to purge these kinds of threads and start over. Meaning* that the forum has grown large enough that it matters.

I do get it and understand that there needs to be rules, I truly do. I could not understand why one of @Shaggy's forums was so strict about political cartoons and not the other forum, here. Now I do understand about the sponsor's having so much to do with it. I will be a GOOD BOY when allowed back on the Tahoe/Yukon forum on the 19th. I guess the only place I can be free from a ban is when talking with my fellow vets at my American Legion post. Thanks for the explanation @G-Ride990, @Bwl and @quietpeen.

It totally sucks, we don't like it either.

Unfortunately same thing on Ramforum. If we see anything political we remove it instantly.

For now I would say stick around here for a bit more lee-way. And when we do eventually have to clean stuff up we will let everyone know. I just reached out to the site owner to ask for some insight too.
