Pretty clean looking ride there my friend. How bad was the hail damage?
It had over 100 little marble-size dents on it. They got them all out with paintless dent removal. The only thing that had to be replaced was some of the chrome around the windows. The bill was approx. $5,600. My insurance company ponied up $5,100 and I covered the $500 deductible. I am very pleased. You cannot tell at all. My only complaint is that they pressed too hard when installing one of the chrome pieces. But I had to look very hard to tell.
I was working on something on my PC at home with the hail came, so I didn't see the warning on the news. I heard it started hitting the roof, so I grabbed a bunch of blankets and headed out the door to save the Laramie. But my wife grabbed me. And thank goodness she did. It was golf ball size hail and came down hard for almost 5 minutes. I likely wouldn't have made it if I ran out into that unprotected. And sadly, the Laramie was in the worst place with no pine tree limbs overhead to protect it. My old green Dodge Ram took a few "new hits" on the hood, but it's not too bad. The Charger, Avalon, PT Convertible and my son's Ram did okay. It was the Laramie that got the brunt of it.
