That gives you everything you need. Obviously I did some further upgrades and put another $700 in between the sights, RMR, mag well, and trigger.
Time to start a new build. It's a .308 hunting rifle this time. Here's a mock-up of what it will probably look like:

Here’s a breakdown of the parts I have so far:
Total cost anticipated to be approx. $1,100
- Aero Precision Lower (Blem)
- 308, 20” Black Nitride SOCOM Barrel, 1:10 Twist
- Rifle Length Gas System
- 15” MLOK Split Rail Hand Guard
- Side Charging Upper Receiver w/BCG (chrome firing pin)
- MAG1165-BLK Magpul MOE K2-XL Vertical Grip,
- Magpul 10 Round mag
- Adaptive Tactical AR10 Lower Rifle Kit
- Vortex Diamondback Tactical 4–16x44mm FFP Scope (slightly used)
- WOLFMTN Dual Ring Offset Cantilever Scope Mount 30mm
- 5-inch Silencer-like flask suppressor (planning to build legal Federal-stamped silencer)
but but but, that is a scary gun and you don't need a scary gun to go hunting.Have everything listed just like in the rendered image, EXCEPT for the serialized lower receiver. It seems that it took the good folks at Davidson Defense two weeks to get the paperwork straight with my local FFL. But it's supposed to be on the way now.
Yup. Even comes with the drill bits (although I used my own). The machining is extremely simple on these compared to an AR or 1911. Assembly was a little trickier for a first timer like me. I couldn’t really find any decent YouTube videos that show you what the hell they are actually doing.Does that come with the jig to drill out the lower receiver?
Anything? Move to a “free country“??Shit 2 weeks for paper work that would be a record in Canada I have been waiting over 5 weeks now for my f.a.c to come back ifi don’t get it in 20 more days I will need to give all my guns up to have someone with a license to hold them till I get mine . The games the government plays with gun owners in Canada is sickening but I will do whatever it takes to keep my guns.
Yep just an aluminum shroud around the barrel the videos I watched they said it didn’t get to hot lol it’s a 9mm and the first time I have shot a gun with the back kick that goes down because of the weird bolt action apparently it’s a fun little shooter find out Friday afternoonThe barrel on that 2nd one looks crazy. Is that just a big heat shield?
Don’t be creeping in the house late at night lolMe and my sweetie did a little shooting Saturday. Here's her target. I guess I need to be good from now on.
