Rain Sensing Wipers

I just had the bezel and rear view mirror off to install the digital rearview mirror so I decided that its the perfect time to add the rain sensing wipers because all you have to do is swap the humidity sensor on the windshield with the sensor that does the humidity and the moisture on the windshield. Then of course turn it on with AlfaOBD.

I finally drove through rain today. They work as intended. I do have a slight issue if i leave the wipers in the on position. I get a random wipe even if the windshield is dry. The fix for this is to replace the gel pad that goes between the sensor and the windshield. I took a gamble that I wouldn’t need to replace it. It‘s not a huge issue because I can just turn them off when its not raining.
