Won’t bore everyone with countless sides people brought over. But I was in charge of smoking the turkey and also threw a venison roast in the crock pot. Went a little over temp on the venison but it still came out great. Very tasty and tender.

Did a reverse sear on a Tri-Tip today. While the smoker was going I also smoked some asparagus. I smoked the meat to an internal temp of around 114 then put on my regular gas grill and seared till an internal of 130. Some of the thinner sections were cooked more but not much I could do about that. To say it was good is an understatement.

Smoked a bone in pork but overnight for pulled pork tacos today along with some queso to snack on plus put on the tacos.

This was after being on the smoker all night for 7 hours.

This was when i added the queso

This is the finished pork right before pulling it. The bone pull was very easy and clean.

Did some simple, no BS jerky. Top round sliced 1/4”. Garlic salt and cracked black pepper. Cured overnight in the fridge and then smoked & dehydrated around 6 hours. We usually do marinades and all that but this was really good, and super easy.

Hmm, I never thought to sear it. I have smoked a ton of tri-tip but searing looks good! Ever tried slicing the tri-tip up and putting it in sour dough bread and making a sandwich out of it. Yum!!
